Angel of the Land Sculpture
Angel of the Land This sculpture and its companion piece, Angel of the Sea, were acquired by Frederick Henry and Abigail (Norman) Prince, Circa 1890, to represent their beloved twin sons, both of who later graduated Harvard, Class of 1908. Norman was killed in action at Gerardmer, France, in 1916, a much publicized event affection general imagination, pride and sympathy throughout greater Boston. His twin brother , Frederick Henry Jr., trained as a pilot in Italy, survived the war.
